The XORAYA N4000. The latest generation of X2E’s high performance automotive data loggers. In comparison to its predecessor (XORAYA Z7), it’s a significantly more powerful hardware. Recording data with up to 3 Gbit/s. Plus, the logger is now equipped with an SFP+ interface (for 10GBase-T) and a hermetically sealed, active cooling system.

The XORAYA N4000 is a high-performance automotive data logger with customizable interfaces based on the Xilinx Zynq® Ultra-Scale+™. The latest generation of X2E’s high-performance automotive data logger. In comparison to its predecessor XORAYA Z7, it has more powerful hardware. This means data can be recorded at up to 3 Gbit/s. Also, the data logger now has an SFP+ interface as standard, PLUS 8x Gbit Ethernet interfaces and hermetically sealed active cooling.

As with the predecessor, the measurement data are either written to the internal hard drive with a precise, central time stamp with a resolution of 100 ns or transferred to an external computer system via the Ethernet interface. Optionally, the data can also be stored on an external storage unit.  A built-in supercap unit protects against data loss in the event of voltage fluctuations.

In addition to a standard interface configuration, the data logger has 4 configurable slots for expanding the device with additional interfaces. The XORAYA N4000 currently supports the following modules:
